This painting has been created with acrylic paints made with pigments taken from the rock and soil from the Cornish landscape; Trevaunance Cove, Porthtowan and Geevor. The pigments used are Trevaunance grey, Porthtowan rust, Geevor red and burnt red. All of these areas of Cornwall are incorporated into this painting

I have tried to capture the essence of the wonderful West Cornwall landscape with its iconic old tin mine workings, it’s crashing seas, wonderful beaches, rock pools and moody skies.
